Donner through the seasons Located between McGlashan Point and Mount Stephens, this spot affords one a great view of Donner Peak and the railroad. The east end of Tunnel six is on the right, Tunnel seven is in the center, and Tunnel Eight starts on the left. It's a relatively short hike up from Old Highway 40 on Donner Summit.
