Alfred A Hart 117 - Bluffs in Donner Pass - The Dutch Flat Road was built to facilitate the construction of the railroad. This view of it is above Tunnel Six and crosses an area that stays wet. Logs were used to build up the roadbed and then rocks and dirt provided the surface.
